Due to demand, the Autism Spectrum assessment is only available for current psychology and/or psychiatry clients at Southside. We are not able to accept new external assessment referrals at this time.

Clinical Interview (Initial Screening Assessment) Options
The cost of the screening assessment is charged based on the clinician's time at a rate of $218.40 per hour. The total price will depend on the complexity of the assessment, the need for collateral information, and the report length. The price ranges are provided below.

Screening Assessments: What's Included
All screening assessments include a brief recommendations report and, where appropriate and with consent, liaison with teachers or other professionals involved in your care.

Assessment Packages: What's Included in Each Package
All packages include a 50 minute feedback appointment as well as a written report with the results, diagnosis (if applicable) and recommended intervention options and strategies. Within the package selected, our clinicians will tailor each assessment battery to the individual client.

8. Functional Capacity Assessment or Progress Reports for NDIS
A psychological Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) is typically requested when a person is applying for the NDIS for the first time, undergoing a plan reassessment or review, or when a change in circumstances warrants a formal re-evaluation of their support needs. The assessment provides the NDIA with objective, evidence-based information about how a person's disability affects their day-to-day functioning across key life domains.
