Dr Princess Rukasha is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and is passionate about delivering holistic care that integrates biological, psychological, and social aspects of health for her patients.
She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018 with her medical degree and later completed a Master’s degree in Medicine (Psychiatry) at the University of Melbourne in 2023. Dr Rukasha began her career as a general medical doctor in Tamworth before pursuing her great passion in psychiatry which she trained in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven region. Her dedication to medical education is reflected in her teaching roles with the University of Wollongong, where she has provided clinical teaching in psychiatry to medical students.
Currently undertaking advanced training in psychotherapies through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), Dr Rukasha has a special interest in psychotherapy and is passionate about furthering her expertise in this area.
