Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is the applied science of helping people achieve their goals in daily activities. The role of an Occupational Therapist is to help people of all ages and stages in life build skills, leverage tools and gain support that makes the life we imagine ourselves living easier to reach. Occupational Therapy for families and children relates to school readiness skills, learning potential and relationship development within the family unit.

Our Occupational Therapist has unique interests and strengths in learning which allows her to provide a wide variety of interventions and strategies to support individuals and families alike. Jacky works within a developmental neuroscience framework, which means that she aims to address the foundations of a problem, and while these abilities are building, she provides support to boost coping strategies.
